Invogue In The Navy Swatch And Nail Art

*This product was provided for review*

Greetings All!

Do you know what today is? Lol why would you. Today marks one year since I stopped biting my nails! I've been a lifelong nail biter, but from time to time I've stopped, grown my nails until they broke, then started biting again. This is the longest I've gone without going back to biting them, and I love my polishing and nail art so much that I can't imagine ever doing it again!

About a month ago (a month?! I'm a terrible person) I was contacted by Oh Beauty about reviewing one of their Invogue polishes. Of course I said yes! They have the full range HERE (I didn't know they did so many colours!), and I was very sensible and chose a colour I actually needed - navy blue. Apart from yellow, blue is probably my most neglected colour, especially darker blues.

So here is In The Navy. I used 2 coats, but you could probably get away with one - I just had a couple of streaks I wanted to cover.

Application was really good - the brush meant I had hardly any cleanup, which is rare for me! And handy, because these darker colours cling to my nails and skin for dear life! It's also lovely and shiny - these swatches are without topcoat. It's a nice, really dark blue, which is just what I needed.

After all, how can you do some nautical nail art without navy blue?

I've gone for the classic stud/stripe/anchor combo (lol), it's not my usual sort of nail art, in fact it's quite weird to see it on my nails, but I quite like it! The navy and gold together are just, kind of perfect. And this is my first time using striping tape as decoration, instead of something I peel off to reveal polish underneath.

I got the studs and striping tape form eBay, the stamps are BM08 and CH36, stamped with Barry M Gold Foil.

Once again, Oh Beauty have the full range of Invogue polishes HERE, and they also do Eye Candy polishes, as well as other beauty products. They offer free delivery in the UK, which I'm always a fan of!

What's your most neglected polish colour?

I always feel a bit lazy posting plain swatches lol so I try and put some nail art on them when I'm inspired. This polish inspired me!
